Warren Buffet is asking each addressee to SHARE this or forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise. I've adapted it for the UK.
This is one idea that really should be passed around.
Political Reform Act of 2013
1. No Tenure / No Pension.
A politician collects a salary while in office and receives no pension when they're out of office.
2. Politicians (past, present & future) participate in Social
Security.
All funds in their retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and redundant politicians participate with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Parliament/Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as other people do.
4. Politicians pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Politicians are not allowed to have private health care and must participates in the same health care system as the people.
6. Politicians must equally abide by all laws they impose on the people.
7. All contracts with past and present politicians are void effective. The people did not make this contract with the politicians. Serving as a politician is an honor, not a career. They should be citizen legislators, so they should serve their
term(s), then go home and back to work.
THIS IS HOW YOU FIX POLITICS !

Boycott The Premier League..
The Premier League is ruining English football.
If you believe this read on..
I was brought up watching one of football's less fashionable clubs and I've watched the game as a spectacle deteriorate over many decades. When I was younger the English Football League was routinely referred to as "the best league in the world" not any more.
When I first started watching football it was a competition between 92 league clubs and the unexpected happened regularly. Notts Forest won the European Cup. Wigan and Wimbledon climbed out of the non league game into the top division. I can't see any side rising through the ranks like this any more, football has become a closed financial shop controlled by a few big clubs. Despite the best efforts of Messers Stelling, Lineker and Hanson to hype it up.. football has become predictable and frankly boring. The product isn't very good. its not just me saying that here are a few comments picked up from football forums.
"Let's face it, Premier League football is mostly square passing, knocking it around at the back, trying not to lose because the main objective of 88% of Sky League clubs is to keep their snouts in the trough for another year."
"This makes for a huge majority of boring, cagey matches, filled with diving and pretending to be hurt, (adult males screaming in fake agony! The worst trait of modern football. Simply embarrassing) which culminate in a long ball tactic in the dying minutes, as teams try to sneak the points."
...
"Its not as if the Premier League has delivered success for the national team."
"My thinking is that the Premier League actually needs the Football League more than the FL needs them. They need the average armchair fan to believe there is still genuine competition. They need to be the biggest fish in the pond, if they didn't need the other clubs they'd have left to form a European Super League"
"The plain fact is if you support a club outside the Premier League but pay to watch it on SKY.. you are making it harder for your own club to survive."
I pick up on posts like this regularly on football forums.. it seems to me there are lot of disenchanted football supporters out there. I believe if you take one or more of the following steps eventually it will make a difference.
Recent events concerning the rigging of the transfer market against smaller clubs with regard to their young players (a vital source of income to smaller clubs) and the obscene levels of parachute payments to clubs falling out of the Premier league.. have convinced me (if I needed any convincing) that fans must act now or many clubs will go out of existence.
It's easy enough to say there is nothing that an individual football fan can do about the nasty stain that is the English Premier League. But this isn't true. THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE ARE THE FANS TAKING ACTION.
The first thing you can do is to cancel your Sky subscription. The important thing is to remember to tell them when cancel that you are doing it because you are protesting against "the Premier League ruining the game". Even if you cancel for other reasons... give this as your reason.
The whole Premier league is driven by cash and if enough people cancel their subscriptions the message will get through.. Even a 10% fall in subscriptions would cause a major crisis in their finances. So don't believe your actions don't make a difference if enough people do it. It will make a difference.
Don't sign up
Tell the SKY guy in the town centre you won't sign up because the Premier League has ruined football
Don't watch ANY Premier League games on the TV. This applies to SKY but also applies to also to BT Vision, MOTD and other programmes. Again even a relatively small reduction in viewing numbers will show up in the stats.. you can make a difference ! Their sales managers have to explain almost everyday to his boss why audience figures are declining.
Don't attend Premier League games. Its a sad fact that many people catch the odd Premier game when their own team is not playing. Refuse to go. The Premier League is watched internationally and it is a way of persuading these international viewers that the Premier League is not universally popular.
Boycott Premier League sponsors. If you really want to get hard core opposing the Premier League boycott their sponsors. You must remember to tell them you are not giving them your money any more because you are opposed to "the Premier League ruining the game". Even if you cancel for other reasons... give this as your reason. Apart from Sky.. Barclays, Aviva, BT, and Virgin Media all are heavily associated with the Premier league.
If you keep hitting home the message every time you leave one of these companies the message will get through. Again their sales managers have to explain almost everyday to their directors why audience figures are declining. A small decline in figures can be enough to persuade their marketing teams it isn't worth paying big money for the Premier League anymore. Hit them where it hurts.
Refuse to get involved in discussions about the Premier League in the pub or anywhere other than to say "I don't like it, and its ruining the game"
"Avoid pubs and other venues that show Premier League games". These pubs may be full of "fans" on matchdays but if even 10% of regular attenders stay away this will hit sales.
If you post on football forums add "BOYCOTT THE PREMIER LEAGUE" as your signature.
These may seem like small ineffectual steps but if they are added together and done by many people they will create the impression of disillusionment and a "negative brand" around the Premier League.. and you'd surprised how quickly sponsors will withdraw to avoid being associated with negative brands. They may be small steps but if enough people follow and keep following them I believe they will make a difference.
Premier League clubs are hugely in debt even with all the money flowing into their coffers.. this makes them vulnerable to even small decreases income.
The major companies that sponsor the Premier League have large sales forces that report back to the board.. if these managers start reporting regularly cancellations because of their support for the Premier League they will take notice.
If anyone has any other ideas for measures to take against the Premier League then please let me know and I will certainly add them. Please feel free to copy and paste and link to here.
