Warren Buffet is asking each addressee to SHARE this or forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise. I've adapted it for the UK.

This is one idea that really should be passed around.

Political Reform Act of 2013

1. No Tenure / No Pension. A politician collects a salary while in office and receives no pension when they're out of office.

2. Politicians (past, present & future) participate in Social Security. All funds in their retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and redundant politicians participate with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Parliament/Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as other people do.

4. Politicians pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Politicians are not allowed to have private health care and must participates in the same health care system as the people.

 6. Politicians must equally abide by all laws they impose on the people.

 7. All contracts with past and present politicians are void effective. The people did not make this contract with the politicians. Serving as a politician is an honor, not a career. They should be citizen legislators, so they should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.
